For some of its organizers , the event is a great platform to solidify the growth opportunities and legacy left by legendary players like Arthur Ashe, Billie Jane King, Athea Gibson etc. But for USTA'S director of Diversity: Kevin Clayton " This event marks a lasting movement of diversity & inclusive opportunities that transcend all over communities in America". Tony Harris of CNN and Betty Nguyen of CBS were also at hand to host the event which to the amazement of attendees, not only could Tennis open doors but its history and legacy has been breaking barriers like no other sports.
