Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis met each other in Atlantic City in 1945 each had been working individually. They soon became a team and over the course of the next ten years became one of the most successful comedy acts in show business history. Martin and Lewis made a series of films together, the next to last was one entitled "Pardners" where they sing this song. Ironically, however, the day "Pardners" was released to the theaters in 1956 was the last day they performed as a team ending their act at New York's Copacabana.

Oct 12, 2010 - I'd love this song if it weren't for the brutal irony of the movie it came from; it was released the day after the boys broke up.
